My practice has evolved into one essentially exploring body language. Through ideas of play, empathy, and emptiness, I search for a fluid and re-organizing nature of self.

I believe dance crosses the boundaries of cultural thought, gender, sexuality, identity, at the site of the body. For me, moving as a body in space is a way of exploring the invisible as well as imaginary, while painting allows me to revisit a physical site where it is mapped, both of which are sense-practices tending to a presence.

My work seeks to practice/ religion as embodiment and relationality, as opposed to indoctrinated colonial theology; Questions/ pedagogy as something which projects previous human ideas onto the body by a capitalist, anthropocentric society; Believe's/ in the capacity dance has to activate the body’s wisdom and memory; Creates/ spaces which support negotiating language/ can nurture social and aesthetic change, shifting culture's seating in the vast movements of our humanity.

At its core, my practice is one which intends to articulate multiplicity, and to facilitate this dialogue with oneself, the social and physical environment, ancestors, and non-human beings.
